Keystone Centre Logo Redesign

Mission:

To modernize the Keystone Centre‘s logo, capturing the energy and excitement of the venue while reflecting its diverse range of events and programs.

What I did:

Brand Analysis:
I researched the Keystone Centre‘s history, mission, and target audience to gain a deep understanding of their brand identity. I analyzed their existing logo and identified areas for improvement in terms of visual appeal, memorability, and relevance to their current offerings.
Concept Development:
I explored various design concepts, experimenting with different shapes, fonts, and color palettes. I focused on creating a logo that conveys a sense of dynamism, entertainment, and community spirit.
Design Refinement:
I presented initial concepts to the Keystone Centre team and gathered feedback. I then refined the chosen design, paying close attention to details such as typography, color balance, and overall composition.
Finalization & Delivery:
I finalized the logo design in various formats (vector, raster) to ensure versatility and scalability for different applications. I provided the Keystone Centre with a comprehensive style guide outlining logo usage guidelines.

Challenges:

Balancing Versatility and Specificity:
The Keystone Centre hosts a wide range of events, from agricultural shows to concerts. The logo needed to be versatile enough to represent this diversity while still being distinctive and memorable.
Modernizing a Familiar Brand:
The Keystone Centre is a well-established institution with a long history. The new logo needed to feel fresh and modern while still respecting the organization‘s heritage.
Communicating Energy and Excitement:
The logo needed to capture the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of the Keystone Centre. I used bold colors, a star shape, and a sense of movement in the design to achieve this.
